About the Role

Priory Medical Group is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our Clinical Coding and Data Quality Team as an Administrator. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our administrative and coding duties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all administrative and coding duties are carried out efficiently and effectively, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care.
  • Process patient records accurately and efficiently, adhering to in-house KPIs, customer SLAs, and relevant SOPs and guidelines.
  • Provide cover and overtime for the team during periods of annual leave or sickness.
  • Stay up-to-date with all aspects of the role and adhere to the team's SOP.

Person Specification

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet the demands of the role and KPIs.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Previous administrative experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Good keyboard and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a positive attitude and a 'can-do' approach.
  • Able to work autonomously and as part of a team.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

  • Understanding of medical terminology.
  • Previous coding experience in a primary care setting.
  • Experience working in an NHS administrative role and using in-house medical systems, preferably SystmOne.
