As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality cost management services across the full project lifecycle. This includes assisting on feasibility studies, writing procurement reports, estimating and cost planning, tendering and procuring, conducting contract administration, and producing monthly post-contract cost reports.

You will work closely with our clients, project managers, and other consultants to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development of cost management strategies and plans
  • Conduct cost estimates and analyses to inform project decisions
  • Manage the tendering and procurement process, including producing tender lists and contractual documents
  • Administer contracts, including dealing with post-contract cost variances and change control processes
  • Produce monthly post-contract cost reports and present them to clients
  • Collaborate with the project management team to ensure project delivery meets client objectives

Requirements

  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality cost management services
  • Professional qualification (RICS or similar) and degree or HNC level qualification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
