Dedicated Support Staff Wanted

We are seeking a skilled and caring individual to fill the position of Support Worker at our SEN school in the Guildford area. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a talented team of educators and caregivers who are dedicated to providing high-quality care and education to students with Special Educational Needs.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Support Worker, your main responsibilities will include:
- Supporting students with daily living tasks, such as feeding, toileting, and hygiene support
- Assisting with classroom activities to ensure a safe and positive learning environment
- Providing personal care when necessary, including administering medication
- Fostering a nurturing and supportive atmosphere to encourage student engagement and participation
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Previous experience working with children with special educational needs (desirable but not essential)
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation due to the school's location and potential off-site activities
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children with SEN
What We Offer:
We offer a competitive salary of £26,500 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a range of benefits, including ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
