We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hospital Capacity Specialist to join our team at The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Site Director Lead to take on a key leadership role in managing our hospital capacity, including emergency admissions, non-emergency planned admissions, and discharge planning/transfer of care.

You will work closely with the Head of Site Management to develop the site management service to meet the changing demands of the trust, ensuring that our hospital operates effectively and efficiently.

You will also provide situational data on demand and capacity, assist in the management of clinical and non-clinical emergency situations, and ensure adherence to Trust policies, procedures, and current legislation.

Person Specification

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A registered professional qualification (NMC or HCPC)
  • Operational management experience and a good understanding of effective bed management
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage workload and adapt to changing priorities
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is £65,000-£85,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including a pension scheme, life assurance, and generous annual leave.
