Job Description

About the Company

ATA Recruitment is working with a leading industrial manufacturing group at their production facility. The group is one of the largest of its kind in the UK, with a turnover of over £700 million across 20 manufacturing plants.

The company has invested £30 million in their Cambridgeshire site, which is home to cutting-edge technology and is the first of its type in the UK. This gives maintenance engineers a unique opportunity to work on equipment not seen anywhere else in the country.

The plant is managed by a supportive engineering manager with over 20 years of experience in the industry, providing engineers with a fantastic opportunity to learn and develop.

About the Role

As a multiskilled engineer, you will work within a large team to ensure the safe and effective maintenance of all plant machinery.

  1. Performing Predictive Maintenance (PPM)
  2. Reacting to breakdowns and remedial repair work
  3. Completing project work
  4. Fault finding
  5. Continuous improvement and root cause analysis

About You

To be considered for this position, you can be either electrical or mechanical biased and have experience from any industry.

  • Previous experience working as a maintenance engineer within a factory environment.
  • Experience working within manufacturing would be beneficial.
  • The company will also consider candidates who are recently qualified and have just finished their apprenticeship.
