About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join our anaesthetics team as a Senior Operating Department Practitioner. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing leadership, management, and support to our anaesthetics team leader.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provision of patient care that is evidence-based and of a high standard
  • Maintenance of 24-hour responsibility for the clinical area
  • Closely working with multi-disciplinary teams, Consultants, Deputy Chief Nurse, Head of Nursing, Matrons, and junior members of the team

Requirements

  • Registered Nurses or Registered Operating Department Practitioners with experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, General Surgery, Orthopaedics, Urology, HANS, Ear Nose & Throat, Dental, and Max-fax
  • Demonstrated commitment to maintaining a high standard of patient care
  • Ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care according to individual needs
  • High standards of verbal and written communication skills

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes excellent training opportunities, flexible working hours, and a range of employee discounts.
