ASOS is a leading online fashion retailer, committed to providing the latest trends and must-haves to our customers worldwide. We are seeking a talented and experienced Fashion Department Lead to join our Merchandising team.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to lead our Merchandising department, working closely with buying teams to ensure product availability and maximize profit. The successful candidate will be responsible for forecasting sales and stock levels, monitoring department performance, identifying opportunities and potential risks, and participating in trade meetings with Heads of and Directors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the Merchandising department.
  • Forecast sales and stock levels to achieve sales plans and margin/profit targets.
  • Monitor department performance, identifying opportunities and potential risks.
  • Work with buying teams to range plan for the department.
  • Participate in trade meetings with Heads of and Directors.
Requirements
  • A proven track record as an Assistant Merchandiser in a Fashion Retail business.
  • Experience in planning weekly sales, stock, and intake management.
  • Confidence to manage and own a category, including weekly trade meetings.
  • Excellent communication skills and relationship-building ability.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in managing and developing team members (desirable).
  • Strong computer skills, particularly in Excel and MS Office applications.
  • Knowledge of reporting tools (desirable).
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £50,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience.
