Specialist Speech and Language Therapist for Children with SEN

At Academics Ltd, we are seeking a highly skilled Speech and Language Therapist (SaLT) to join our team. As a specialist in working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments, developing tailored therapy plans, and collaborating closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify students' speech, language, and communication needs
  • Design and implement individualized therapy plans to address specific goals and objectives
  • Foster strong partnerships with educators, caregivers, and support staff to ensure a cohesive approach to student support
  • Present engaging therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based techniques and resources
  • Regularly evaluate students' progress, making adjustments to therapy plans as needed to achieve positive outcomes
  • Provide consultation and training to school staff, promoting a whole-school approach to communication development
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Degree-qualified Speech and Language Therapist with relevant experience (SEN experience preferred)
  • Registration with the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT) and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • Passion for supporting children with special educational needs and commitment to their well-being

We offer a competitive salary of £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a supportive work environment that fosters growth and development.
