SEN Speech and Language Therapist

Salary: £38,000 - £45,000 per annum (Band 5/6)
This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Speech and Language Therapist to work with children and young people in Buckinghamshire. The role involves delivering assessments, creating tailored therapy plans, and providing interventions to support the development of communication abilities and social interaction skills.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of special educational needs and experience working with children with communication difficulties. They will also possess excellent clinical knowledge and be able to develop high-level speech and language therapy care plans based on best practice.
Main Responsibilities:
- Deliver a speech and language therapy service to meet the needs of pupils across the academy.
- Provide training and continuing professional development for school staff in line with the school's development plan.
Requirements:
- Recognised professional qualification in Speech and Language Therapy.
- Evidence of working within a multidisciplinary team with children or adults with communication needs.
- Evidence of participating in/running training for communication partners of children with SLCN needs.
