Job Description


As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will play a vital role in supporting children with speech and language difficulties in KS1 and KS2 at our primary school based in Wandsworth. Your primary responsibilities will include:



  • Assisting with 1:1 and group interventions to improve stutters, apraxia of speech, dysarthria, selective mutism, and speech delay
  • Using personalised SAL methods and strategies to accommodate each child's unique needs
  • Collaborating with SEN professionals and teachers to develop effective intervention plans


Required Skills and Qualifications


To be successful in this role, you should possess:



  • A minimum 2:1 degree in Psychology from a Top 30 UK University
  • Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is desired, but not mandatory
  • A passion for improving the lives of children with speech and language impediments
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and training
