Job Opportunity

Opus Recruitment Solutions is seeking a skilled Application Support Specialist to join their team and contribute to the success of their retail clients. As a key member of the support team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional application support, troubleshooting technical issues, and collaborating with the development team to identify and fix software bugs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality application support to retail clients, ensuring seamless functionality and optimal performance of our software solutions.
  • Analyze and resolve technical issues related to our applications, working closely with clients to understand and address their needs.
  • Collaborate with the development team to implement enhancements based on client feedback and identify software bugs.
  • Conduct regular system checks and maintenance to ensure the stability and reliability of our applications.
  • Provide training and support to clients on the usage of our software solutions, ensuring they maximize the value of their investments.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of support activities, issues, and resolutions.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in application support, with a strong background in Java programming.
  • Proven experience in the retail industry, with a deep understanding of retail operations and challenges.
  • Excellent client-facing skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and analytical approach to identifying and resolving issues.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
