Job Title: Application Support Specialist

Opus Recruitment Solutions is seeking a skilled Application Support Specialist to join their dynamic team. As a key member of the team, you will provide exceptional application support to retail clients, ensuring seamless functionality and optimal performance of our software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to retail clients, troubleshooting and resolving issues related to our applications.
  • Collaborate with the development team to identify and fix software bugs, and implement enhancements based on client feedback.
  • Conduct regular system checks and maintenance to ensure the stability and reliability of our applications.
  • Assist clients with onboarding, training, and usage of our software, ensuring they maximize the value of their solutions.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of support activities, issues, and resolutions.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in application support, with a strong background in Java programming.
  • Proven experience in the retail industry, with a deep understanding of retail operations and challenges.
  • Excellent client-facing skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and analytical approach to identifying and resolving issues.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
