We are seeking a Trade Sales Professional to join our team at Huws Gray Maidenhead. As a Trade Sales Professional, you will be responsible for building great relationships with our customers and suppliers, while increasing branch sales and profit.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the building materials industry and be able to provide expert advice to customers on the best products available. You will also be responsible for serving our customers, providing quotes, following up on enquiries and developing sales leads.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Serving our customers whether that's over the counter or on the phone
  2. Providing quotes, following up on enquiries and developing sales leads
  3. Keeping up to date with any relevant paperwork and administration
  4. Making sure your product knowledge is up to date to be able to advise customers on the best products available
  5. Looking after product displays and shop areas, making sure they are fully stocked and appealing to our customers

As a member of our team, you can expect a competitive salary of £28,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a salary, we offer a range of benefits including 23 days annual leave, plus bank holidays, company performance bonus scheme, contributory pension scheme, company funded Life Assurance, generous colleague discount scheme, and range of training and development programmes to help you progress your career.

  • Previous experience in a similar industry, or a good knowledge of building materials
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
