Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced CAMHS Senior Mental Health Practitioner to join our team at Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a dedicated team of professionals who are passionate about delivering high-quality care to our patients.

Main Responsibilities
  • To provide high-quality mental health services to patients in a GP setting.
  • To work collaboratively with GPs, other healthcare professionals, and patients to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
  • To conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide interventions to patients with mental health needs.
  • To maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient interactions and treatment plans.
  • To contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to mental health services.
Requirements
  • Experience working in a CAMHS setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of mental health legislation and policies.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
