Job Title: Senior Instrumentation and Controls Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to join our team at Stantec Consulting International Ltd. in the Water business. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing technical services to public and private-sector clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement control systems for water and wastewater treatment plants and related facilities.
  • Develop and implement process control strategies, automation designs, and construction support services.
  • Conduct field reviews and evaluations of existing equipment, control systems, and control panels.
  • Support multi-disciplinary teams with engineering design projects and studies.
  • Develop construction documents, including database-driven Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), detailed network communication architecture diagrams, CCTV and Access Control System drawings, and instrument installation details.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering.
  • Professional Engineering registration (P.E.).
  • Strong interpersonal skills for working in a team environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to mentor junior to intermediate staff and work with remotely located project team members.
  • Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
