Instrumentation and Controls Engineer

Mentor IMC Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical leadership and expertise in the design, development, and implementation of instrumentation and control systems for our oil and gas operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide technical authority and leadership for the design, development, and implementation of instrumentation and control systems.
- Develop and implement engineering and project scope of works, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Manage design changes, develop and install instrumentation and equipment, and monitor the implementation of QA/QC processes.
- Present field change proposals to management for technical and commercial review and approval.
- Budget and estimate outline project costs, measure and control project costs, and input into procurement of equipment and materials.
- Review discipline design calculation reports, system studies, design philosophies, software model input and outputs, drawings, equipment data sheets, data bases, specifications, and vendor data.
- Ensure design integrity is maintained through fabrication, handling site queries, and proper application of QA/QC processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation and Controls, Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering from a recognized university.
- Minimum 10 years of work experience in oil and gas, refining, or petrochemical industry.
- Good understanding of industry safety practices and general HSE cultural awareness for Oil and Gas facilities.
