We have an increasing portfolio of prestigious geotechnical projects in the UK and internationally. We need to increase our team to meet the growing demands from our clients, especially in the rail sector. Rapid career development will be possible for the right candidate.
Requirements:
We are looking for a well-rounded candidate who can lead geotechnical projects with minimal supervision, lead bids and grow existing and new commissions and work in a Contractors Responsible Engineer (CRE) function on rail projects. They will be based in East Croydon but will be able to also work across our London and Epsom offices on occasion and get involved with work in other sectors such as our growing water and energy markets.
The ideal candidate should have:
- A strong academic background with a relevant degree and ideally an MSc in a relevant subject.
- Proven geotechnical analysis and design experience, with relevant experience in railway geotechnics.
- Project Management including commercial experience.
- Project leader skills and CRE experience with interface with contractor clients and site experience.
- A desire to drive digital innovation and further AtkinsRéalis' capability in advanced geotechnical analysis and design.
- Excellent report writing skills with the ability to self-check and produce accurate work.
- A willingness to travel on short assignments both within the UK and overseas.
- A valid UK driving licence.
