Job Description:

About the Opportunity:

  • Support the Nurse and Household Care Lead in delivering highest standards of care to individuals in a KYN residence.
  • Understand personalised care plans for each resident and take responsibility for all aspects of care, including personal care, washing, dressing, and supporting continence needs.
  • Undertake minor medical duties such as oral care, skin care, catheter care, and end-of-life care.
  • Create a supportive environment where residents and their family feel valued and cared for.

Your Responsibilities:

  • You will be patient with ability to deal with difficult situations with tact and diplomacy.
  • You will be an effective team player building professional and trusting relationships with every member of the team.
  • You will have excellent attention to detail and ability to anticipate problems before they arise.
  • You will have ability to resolve complaints, investigate, and manage incidents effectively and efficiently.

  • Competitive salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Diploma or equivalent in healthcare or a related field.
  • Experience working in a care setting, preferably in a residential care environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
