Yolk Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Project Leader to join their team on a high-profile project in the Aerospace industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a cross-functional team to deliver a project focused on systems engineering, with a strong emphasis on meeting time, cost, and quality objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of engineers and technicians to deliver project objectives, ensuring that processes are in place to manage project management and direction of cross-functional teams.
- Develop and implement project plans, ensuring that project costs remain within budgets and customer priorities and expectations are managed.
- Collaborate with external suppliers and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery, including regular progress reporting and issue escalation.
- Contribute to the development of the yearly Operating Plan and monthly financial outlook, providing regular updates on project activities and progress.
Requirements
- Proven experience in project management, with a strong understanding of project lifecycle and budget control.
- Excellent technical knowledge and understanding of the specification, design, build, and test process.
- Strong team player with excellent communication and facilitation skills, able to influence and lead multi-functional teams.
- Ability to work in a transnationally managed environment and travel for business purposes.
