Exciting Opportunity for a Regional Intruder Alarm & Security Installation Engineer

Express Recruitment is proud to be partnering with a leading Fire Alarm & Security supplier in Nottingham to find a skilled Regional Intruder Alarm & Security Installation Engineer to join their dynamic team.

The successful candidate will be contracted to 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday, with a call out rota every 1 in 3 weeks. Although call outs are rare, individuals will still receive a call out bonus for maintaining their availability.

In return, the successful candidate will receive a competitive salary up to £38,000, call out bonus, company vehicle, phone, laptop, and continuous training opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out pre-planned and reactive maintenance across multiple sites in Nottingham and surrounding areas
  • Service, maintain and install a wider range of intruder alarm systems, fire alarms and CCTV surveillance systems
  • Consult with customers on site to ensure they receive the ideal solution for their business
  • Perform in-depth diagnosis of electrical alarm systems when required
  • Complete all relevant paperwork
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations
  • Respond to emergency callouts as per rota agreement (every 1 in 3 weeks)
Requirements:
  • Formal electrical engineering qualifications desirable but time served experience considered
  • 18th edition qualified
  • Demonstrable installation experience of intruder alarm systems highly advantageous
  • Installation and servicing experience with fire alarms and CCTV systems
  • Holder of current DBS certificate or willing to have one done
  • First-class customer service skills
  • Full UK driving license essential
