Position Summary

We are recruiting a highly skilled Ophthalmic Theatre Care Specialist to work as part of our multidisciplinary team, providing exceptional care to patients undergoing ophthalmic surgeries. As a valued member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting surgeons during procedures, conducting preoperative assessments, and coordinating patient care.

Core Responsibilities
  • Theatre Operations: Contribute to smooth theatre operations, ensuring that all necessary preparations are made before procedures begin.
  • Patient Safety: Maintain a safe environment for patients, adhering to established protocols and best practices.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.

Main Objectives
  1. Provide Exceptional Patient Care: Deliver high-quality care to patients, focusing on their individual needs and preferences.
  2. Maintain Clinical Standards: Uphold rigorous clinical standards, adhering to established protocols and best practices.
  3. Foster Collaborative Relationships: Develop positive working relationships with colleagues and other stakeholders, promoting a culture of open communication and mutual respect.

Salaries: £45,000 - £60,000 per year (dependent on location)
