About This Role
The Data Engineer will be responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing large datasets to support data-driven decision-making within the Provider Mobility business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, data engineering, and a passion for uncovering insights that drive business success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, clean, and preprocess data from various sources to ensure data quality and integrity.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to support the generation of business metrics.
- Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions.
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams to understand metric requirements and deliver actionable insights.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate metrics to stakeholders.
- Design and optimize database performance and ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Develop and maintain documentation for data processes, metric calculations, and best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in data analytics and engineering.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in data analysis, data engineering, or a related role.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or Java.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Knowledge of machine learning techniques and frameworks.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Snowflake, Hadoop, Spark)
