Crude Oil Commodities Trader

Phillips 66: A Leading Energy Company
The successful candidate will join our Global Crude Trading team as an Oil Trader for the Atlantic Basin region. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work with a global trading team with a mandate for growth and diversification of trading activity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with other Global Sweet Crude traders to optimize the supply of advantaged crude oil in the Atlantic basin region.
- Purchase and sell crude oil to optimize P66 refining assets.
- Liaise with the crude oil operations team to address any cargo operational issues.
- Collaborate with the derivatives team to ensure correct hedging of supply cargos.
- Monitor cargo B/L dates and adjust hedging requirements accordingly.
- Drive market fundamental view and information flow across the Global Sweet Trading Team.
- Liaise with other departments, such as risk, contracts, finance, and IT, to develop capability and support global crude trading growth.
Requirements:
- Past P66 Trader Assessment program or industry equivalent.
- Market analysis, operations, and position-keeping experience preferred.
- Hold the legal right to live and work in the UK on a permanent basis without restrictions or meet employer sponsorship criteria.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
- Relevant experience in a similar role with a proven track record of earnings.

Ability to handle stress and a fast-paced working environment.Basic understanding of refinery operations.Creativity and ability to work with different individuals effectively.Working knowledge of Platts Europe Crude Pricing Mechanism.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Financial, economic, and statistical analysis and/or modeling experience.Outstanding MS Excel skills.Excellent written, oral communication, and presentation skills.Solid understanding of macroeconomic business environment drivers.Strong commercial acumen and quick thinking.Strong planning and organizational skills.Strong desire for personal learning and sharing of skills with others; team player.-
