Job Title: Operations Manager

As an Operations Manager at Vira International, you will play a crucial role in the strategic planning, directing, and coordinating of Restaurant operations. Your primary responsibility will be to work closely with the Director of Operations and Store Managers to ensure the smooth operation of our restaurants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement systems of control to ensure the highest quality product and cost efficiency.
  • Conduct and manage weekly audits to ensure compliance with business standards.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of special events to ensure success.
  • Ensure relevant information is passed on to Store Managers, Assistant Managers, Head Baristas, and Head Chefs.
  • Assist in the planning and implementation of new ideas and menu specifications.
  • Interact with customers and ensure their needs are met in a timely and satisfactory manner.
  • Responsible for marketing and promoting the restaurants to maximize sales and participates in developing and implementing food promotions and new menus.
  • People Management and Administration:
    • Work with the human resources department to train, develop, hire, retain, and terminate employees.
    • Develop and monitor staff in obtaining the highest standards of service and customer care.
    • Ensure all administration procedures are accurately completed.
  • Finance, Budget, and Procurement:
    • Responsible for developing budgets, sales targets, controlling costs, and purchasing stock.
    • Work closely with Store Managers to ensure correct stock levels are available at all times.
    • Review product delivery to ensure set agreements are met and take up any shortcomings with suppliers.
    • Manage and monitor expenditure and budget setting each year.
    • Provide analysis on stock and sales, highlighting and acting on any anomalies.
  • Food Hygiene, Safety, and Sanitation:
    • Ensure strict compliance with all relevant Hygiene and Safety legislation and requirements.
    • Ensure and maintain staff awareness on health and safety, fire, and hygiene regulations.

Requirements:

As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurants. You will work closely with the Director of Operations and Store Managers to achieve this goal. You will be responsible for developing and implementing systems of control, conducting and managing weekly audits, and overseeing the planning and execution of special events. You will also be responsible for ensuring relevant information is passed on to Store Managers, Assistant Managers, Head Baristas, and Head Chefs.
