Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant

TeacherActive is seeking a dedicated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join a renowned SEND primary school in Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a talented team and make a positive impact on the lives of children and young people.

About the Role:

We are looking for a driven and compassionate individual who can cover RE and PE across the classes in school. The successful applicant will work across both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 to deliver the national curriculum while supporting the children's behaviour and needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning to students in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2
  • Support the development and implementation of EHCPs in schools
  • Work collaboratively with the teaching team to ensure a smooth and effective learning environment
  • Provide excellent behavioural management skills to support the children's needs
