Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team at a reputable SEND primary school in Birmingham. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering exceptional education to learners across all age groups.

Job Summary:

The school is looking for a driven and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to cover RE and PE across the classes. This will be a long-term basis, leading into a permanent position. The successful applicant will be working across both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 to deliver the national curriculum while supporting the children's behaviour and needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver the national curriculum to Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 students
  • Support children's behaviour and needs
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to ensure a high-quality education
  • Develop and implement EHCPs in schools
Requirements:
  • Level 4 Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualifications
  • Experience teaching Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2
  • Excellent behavioural management skills
