Pertemps Bond is currently recruiting for a Logistics Administrator to join our team in a local village. As a Logistics Administrator, you will be responsible for assisting Account Managers in various tasks related to the despatch of Sales Orders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Raising all necessary paperwork for the despatch of Sales Orders.
  • Arranging transport for despatches, including imports and UK to UK despatches.
  • Booking transport and producing documentation for both domestic and export despatches.
  • Arranging collections of goods inward as required.
  • Liaising with Shipping agents to determine the best rates, booking transport, and ensuring delivery.
  • Labelling pallets in the warehouse.
  • Posting and reconciling materials and transport invoices.
  • Raising paperwork and invoices for export Sales.
  • Warehouse goods in control and occasional pick/pack duties, including holiday cover.
  • Assisting with other office duties as required.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Good telephone manner.
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • High organisational skills and ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Experience working in a busy and sensitive environment.
  • Possession of a FLT Licence would be an advantage (training can be given for occasional loading/unloading of goods/pallets).
  • Familiarity with export documentation, including commercial invoices, bills of lading, and certificates of origin.
