Job Title: Group Reservations Agent

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Group Reservations Agent to join our team at the Holiday Inn Bloomsbury.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond promptly to reservations for the Holiday Inn Bloomsbury, updating and amending bookings through Opera to ensure accurate and timely entry into the system.
  • Manage and fully understand all systems in the hotel relating to front office control and strategic management, including Holidex, OXI Interface, Opera PMS, Configuration, S&C, and channel manager as IHG Concerto.
  • Display a proactive and innovative approach to skills development and standards enhancement with your team.
  • Ensure effective and efficient communication procedures on a day-to-day basis to enable the operation to plan and deliver all customer service requirements.
  • Keep up-to-date and provide information on new and current offers, packages, prices, and information about the hotels in the group.
  • Follow sales and revenue strategy to make new bookings and offers.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in Hotel Group Reservations and IHG properties is ideal.
  • A good level of spoken and written English is required.
  • A positive can-do attitude, with the ability to work both independently and as a team.
  • A confident and engaging telephone manner.
  • Flexibility and reliability to work allocated shifts.
  • Working knowledge of Opera or similar PMS is preferred.
