Community Development Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Community Development Specialist to join our team at Big Hearts Community Trust.
This fixed-term position offers the opportunity to work closely with recently arrived refugees, asylum seekers, and young people with a migrant background aged 15-25 in South West Edinburgh.
Key Responsibilities- Foster partnerships with local and specialist organisations to enhance program effectiveness.
- Collaborate with the Project Lead to design and deliver programs that promote integration and inclusion among young people.
- Consult with young people to ensure their needs and preferences are at the forefront of planning.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A strong understanding of community development principles and social enterprise practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
This position offers a competitive salary of £30,000 per annum, providing an excellent opportunity for personal and professional growth.
