Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Transportation Professional to join our team as a Community Shuttle Driver in Leicester. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a bus on designated routes, ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers.

Responsibilities
  • Operate a bus on designated routes in Leicester
  • Ensure the safety and comfort of passengers at all times
  • Follow established schedules and routes
  • Provide excellent customer service
Requirements
  • Valid PCV licence
  • Over 18 years of age
  • No more than 6 points on your licence
  • Can pass a drug and alcohol test
  • Great people and customer service skills
  • Flexibility to work shifts

Pay and Working Hours

The estimated salary for this role is £35 per hour (Monday to Saturday), with no Sunday working. Bank Holidays pay £25.00 per hour. Pay rates are reviewed via frequent negotiations.

Morning shifts start from 05:30 and evening shifts end at around 21:00. Rotas are constructed with our driving team in mind, split into main types of work (local, interurban, and Park & Ride).
