Child and Adolescent Psychologist Role in Devon's Integrated Eating Disorder Pathway

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team in Devon's Integrated Eating Disorder Pathway. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality assessments and psychological therapies to children, young people, and their families.
About the Pathway
The Eating Disorder Pathway is a county-wide service that provides specialist assessment and treatment for young people with eating disorders. Our team includes Clinical Psychologists, Systemic Psychotherapists, Family Therapists, Psychiatrists, Assistant Psychologists, and Mental Health Practitioners. We work closely with other agencies and partners in paediatrics and inpatient CAMHS to provide comprehensive care.
Responsibilities
- Undertake complex assessments and deliver evidence-based psychological therapies to children, young people, and their families
- Contribute to team discussions, bringing enhanced formulation skills and knowledge to support the team processes, reflections, and formulation
- Develop leadership skills through involvement in service development and research
- Provide consultation and support to other agencies and partners
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Professional Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or equivalent Masters level qualification in Clinical Psychology if qualified before 1996
- Active registration as a Practitioner Psychologist with the HCPC
- Post-qualification training or experience in supervision and teaching/training
- Experience working collaboratively with service users and their families/carers, including using goal-based care and routine outcome measures in practice
- Ability to travel and work in a variety of locations, clinic base, schools, home visits
