FP&A Analyst Role at Thermal

Thermal is seeking a highly skilled FP&A Analyst to support the Head of Finance in creating high-quality forecasts and providing timely information to the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and analyze sales forecasts and budgets to inform business decisions.
  • Assist in the timely preparation, consolidation, and presentation of annual budgets, forecasts, and 5-year plans.
  • Partner with department heads to support sales forecasting and business direction.
  • Develop long-term load and capacity forecasts to optimize business performance.
  • Monitor and analyze work-in-progress closure variances with the Production Manager and CI.
  • Monitor sales prices and provide costing data to the Commercial and Engineering departments.
  • Support the business with ad-hoc analysis and report creation as needed.
Requirements:
  • Right to live and work in the UK.
  • Experience in manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems.
  • Track record of delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines.
  • Self-motivated and advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical and report writing skills.
  • Experience in an FP&A role is desirable.
