Job Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned finance leader to take on the role of Regional Financial Controller at a leading Manufacturing business in the EMEA region. As a key member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the financial integrity and operational efficiency of the business units in the UK and Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation of accurate and compliant financial reports for the EMEA region, ensuring adherence to IFRS and local GAAP.
- Financial Analysis: Prepare detailed management reports, perform variance analysis, and provide insights to drive business decisions.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the company's operations in EMEA are compliant with all relevant regulations, manage internal controls, and lead external audit processes.
- Cash Flow Management: Oversee regional cash flow management, treasury operations, and develop strategies to mitigate foreign exchange risks.
- Team Leadership: Lead and develop the finance team, collaborate with cross-functional departments, and drive cost-saving initiatives.
Requirements:
- Professional Qualifications: Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) and a strong understanding of IFRS and local GAAP.
- Senior Finance Experience: Progressive senior finance experience, ideally within a multinational company, with a proven track record of managing financial operations across multiple countries.
- Technical Skills: Strong technical accounting skills, advanced Excel skills, and experience with financial systems.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.
