Financial Controller Role in EMEA Region

We are seeking a seasoned finance leader to take full responsibility for the financial integrity and operational efficiency of our business units in the UK and Europe.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee financial reporting for EMEA, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS and local GAAP.
  • Prepare monthly and annual financial statements, detailed management reports, and perform variance analysis.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance across EMEA operations, manage internal controls, and lead external audit processes.
  • Oversee regional cash flow management, treasury operations, and develop strategies for foreign exchange risks.
  • Lead and develop the finance team, collaborate with cross-functional departments, and drive cost-saving initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
  • Progressive senior finance experience, ideal within a multinational company.
  • Experience managing financial operations across multiple countries.
  • Strong technical accounting skills with a thorough understanding of IFRS and local GAAP.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Strong financial systems skills and advanced Excel.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.
