We are seeking a highly skilled Clerk of Works to join our team at Baily Garner LLP. As a key member of our multidisciplinary consultancy, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor and inspect ongoing work to ensure strict compliance with project specifications.
  • Quality Reporting: Prepare and submit detailed Clerk of Works reports, and efficiently manage task allocation and tracking using cutting-edge tools.
  • Site Management: Maintain a meticulously detailed diary of work progress, identify potential delays, and notify the Project Manager as needed.
  • Expert Advice: Offer practical and expert advice to the Project Manager, providing valuable insights to keep the building contract on track.
  • Document Coordination: Identify and address any queries related to drawings and specifications, ensuring seamless coordination between all project documents.
Requirements
  • Experience: A strong track record showcasing relevant experience in high-risk building cladding remediation works or construction projects.
  • Professional Membership: Membership with RICS, CIOB, or ICWCI, with the ability to become chartered if not already.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in harnessing the power of modern technology, including tablets, to enhance work efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Location: Living between Worcestershire and Bristol would be an advantage to travel to sites across South Wales, Birmingham, and Oxford.
