We are DeedMob B.V., a charity dedicated to supporting adults in their reading journey. We are looking for a skilled Deputy Team Leader to join our management team, ensuring the continued growth and success of our volunteer-led programme.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, with experience in managing teams and motivating others. A non-judgmental attitude and commitment to equality and diversity are essential, as we strive to create an inclusive environment where all individuals feel valued and respected.

As Deputy Team Leader, you will support the Team Leader in running meetings, coaching sessions, and contribute to decision-making processes within our small team of six. Your role will be instrumental in shaping the future of our programme, and we offer a competitive salary of £30,000 per annum.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Leading and guiding a team of volunteers to achieve programme goals.
  2. Developing and implementing strategies to improve adult literacy rates in our community.
  3. Collaborating with colleagues to ensure effective communication and coordination across the organisation.
