About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and professional Lead Security Officer to join our team in Clitheroe. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the security and integrity of the site through regular foot patrols, access control, and identification checks.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' security experience, hold a valid SIA licence, and possess a driving licence and access to their own vehicle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the security and integrity of the site through regular foot patrols, access control, and identification checks.
  • Perform locking and unlocking duties, respond to emergencies, and ensure accurate completion of reports and paperwork.
  • Act as a key member of the security team, reporting to the Security Supervisor and handling a variety of duties as required.
  • Work in a customer-facing environment, handling situations with politeness, tact, and discretion.
  • Monitor and maintain knowledge of Security and Fire Safety systems and procedures.
Essential Skills:
  • SIA licence
  • Right-to-work and 5 year checkable history
  • 2 years security experience would be preferred (Supervisory experience would be a bonus but not essential)
  • Demonstrate the values of integrity, vigilance and helpfulness which Securitas prides itself on
