About the Job

  • In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to individuals with diverse mental health and learning disability needs, working closely with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify their physical and mental healthcare needs, developing and implementing targeted interventions to improve their quality of life.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to coordinate nursing activities, ensuring seamless transitions between shifts and departments.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with best practices and advancements in mental health and learning disability care.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • NMC Registration: A valid license to practice as a Registered Mental Health Nurse or Registered Learning Disability Nurse.
  • Nursing Qualification: A degree in nursing or a related field.
  • Compassionate Care: Demonstrate a strong commitment to patient welfare, empathy, and understanding.
