About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director to lead our Civil Structural Engineering team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for shaping the future of our cities and environments.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Own and direct teams undertaking technical design work, ensuring high-quality delivery and adherence to relevant design standards and codes.
  • Define briefs, scopes of work, and contribute to bid proposals, driving business development and growth.
  • Successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes, ensuring timely delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions, promoting a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Establish and maintain quality assurance standards in design, driving continuous improvement and best practices.
  • Grow, develop, and manage heavy civil engineering capability within the practice, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.

Requirements:

  • Chartered Civil/Structural Engineer or similar, with experience in owning design delivery and multidisciplinary design.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of design and analysis of heavy civil engineering structures, including reinforced concrete and/or steel, with experience across all design phases and construction.
