About the Role

UCL Department of Political Science is seeking a Teaching Associate in Political Theory to cover a fixed-term leave. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a single module in Term 2 of the academic year, POLS Global Justice. This will involve lecture and seminar teaching, student experience and support activity, and personal tutoring. The postholder will also be expected to first and second mark assignments and be available for office hours each week as required.

About You

We are looking for applicants who hold a PhD in Political Science or a related subject, or are currently enrolled in a PhD programme in Political Science or a related subject. The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of academic literature and methods relevant to teaching the content of the described module. Applicants should be able to communicate clearly with students and provide support with compassion.
