Care Home Cleaner Position

We are currently looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Care Home Cleaner to join our team at Active Pathways Limited.

The successful candidate will work a varied shift pattern, including weekends, and will be expected to maintain high standards of cleaning and hygiene throughout the facility.

Active Pathways Limited has been providing mental health and rehabilitation services in Lancashire and Yorkshire for over 15 years.

We pride ourselves on delivering recovery-focused services within innovative and inspiring environments. Each service user and member of staff is entitled to, and will have, their own individual pathway designed by them with the support of the organisation.

We are dedicated to supporting each service user to be an expert in their own mental health and each member of staff to be an expert in their own development.

We hold a CQC rating of Outstanding and Investors in People Gold.

Main Responsibilities:
  • To ensure that all areas are cleaned to a high standard in compliance with specific cleaning guidelines and schedules
  • To identify and report damages, faults, and other related issues to the Head Housekeeper and maintenance departments
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar role is essential
  • Ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and service users
  • Familiarity with Health and Safety Regulations, COSHH, and Infection Control
Salary and Benefits:
  • The estimated salary for this role is £20,000-£24,000 per annum, depending on experience
