Therapy Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and organized Therapy Assistant to join our Medical Team at York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. In this role, you will support registered therapists in providing high-quality care to our clients, assist with therapeutic activities, maintain accurate records, and ensure a welcoming environment.
Main Responsibilities- Support registered therapists in providing high-quality care to clients
- Assist with therapeutic activities and maintain accurate records
- Ensure a welcoming environment for clients and staff
- Manage the provision of therapeutic equipment as required
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Medical Team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care. As a Therapy Assistant, you will work closely with our registered therapists to provide support and assistance in a variety of settings.
Person Specification- Education: GCSE Level or equivalent, with Maths and English at C or above
- Experience: Previous experience in a care setting, with a detailed understanding of the role of a Therapy Assistant
- Skills: Excellent communication skills, ability to keep accurate and legible patient notes, and ability to organize and prioritize workload
