Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and organized Therapy Assistant to support our Medical / Elderly Therapy Team in providing high-quality care to our clients. In this role, you will assist registered therapists in delivering therapeutic activities, maintain accurate records, and ensure a welcoming environment.

Main Responsibilities

As a Therapy Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting registered therapists in providing high-quality care to clients
  • Assisting with therapeutic activities and maintaining accurate records
  • Ensuring a welcoming environment for clients and staff
  • Managing the provision of therapeutic equipment as required
About the Role

This is a Band 3 role, working Monday to Friday from 8am to 4pm. We are looking for someone who is keen to learn, enthusiastic, and committed to delivering quality care on the wards. Ideally, you will have previous experience as a Therapy or Healthcare Assistant, but we welcome applications from a variety of backgrounds.

Person Specification

We are looking for someone with:

  • GCSE Level or equivalent in Maths and English at C or above
  • Willingness to undertake relevant departmental training
  • Detailed understanding of the role of a Therapy Assistant
  • Awareness of what is important to a patient
  • Practical awareness of issues affecting patient safety and risk
