Manufacturing Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at the Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC). As a key member of our Workshop Team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing manufacturing processes that drive efficiency, quality, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement manufacturing methods and sequences to optimize production processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including manufacturing methods and sequences.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to resolve manufacturing issues.
  • Work with customers to optimize product design for manufacturability.
  • Develop and implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Significant experience in a manufacturing discipline, with a proven track record of process improvement.
  • Strong technical expertise in manufacturing processes, including CAD/CAM and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to translate customer requirements into manufacturing processes.
