Manufacturing Process Engineer

The Recruitment Bunker is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Process Engineer to join a leading Automotive Group in Coventry. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for defining, documenting, and communicating manufacturing processes and procedures. Your expertise will contribute to the overall efficiency of project operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Review manufacturing operations to identify and document production process steps, creating process flows.
- Maintain statistical data to departmental KPIs and produce reports as required.
- Investigate production and process issues, providing technical support and training.
- Identify and provide input into manufacturing jigs and fixtures.
- Follow and adhere to all company policies and procedures, including Health and Safety protocols.
Requirements:
- Experience working within an Automotive/Manufacturing environment with relevant experience as a Manufacturing/Process/Production Engineer.
- Ability to manage one's own time and prioritize workload across multiple projects.
- Experienced in generating standard work instructions, man assignments, and process flows.
- A high level of IT literacy, particularly in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Able to identify risks, use problem-solving techniques, develop, and safely implement new processes within a production and manufacturing environment.
- Organised, methodical but flexible approach to workload.
- Experience of automotive product quality assurance systems (IATF16949, ISO9001, 5S, TPM, KPIs).
- Understanding of lean manufacturing and 5S principles.
- Must have IDLR/Full Rights to Work in UK - Sponsorship or Work Permits will not be accepted/provided.
- Experience of using Carbon Fibre and Fabrication assemblies.
