Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our team at the Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC). As a key member of our Workshop Team, you will be responsible for transforming customer demands into efficient manufacturing methods that meet lead-time and cost requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and optimize manufacturing processes and sequences to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Develop and implement CNC programs for components to ensure accurate and timely production
  • Resolve non-conformance issues and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences
  • Collaborate with research themes to influence technology roadmaps for future manufacturing capabilities
  • Coach and mentor technicians to improve their skills and knowledge
  • Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Share best practices and knowledge with engineering teams to drive continuous improvement

Requirements

  • Significant experience in manufacturing process engineering or a related field
  • Degree in Engineering or a related discipline
  • Ability to develop and implement manufacturing methods and processes
  • Proficient in CAD/CAM software and other relevant tools
