About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and ambitious Project Director to join our team in Cambridge. This is an excellent opportunity to lead major infrastructure projects and work with a dynamic and innovative team.
Key Responsibilities:
- To lead project management commissions, taking responsibility for end-to-end service delivery.
- To act as the key client interface, ensuring that client objectives are met and projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- To manage and develop project teams, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project outcomes.
- To identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- To prepare and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, working closely with clients and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- To monitor and report on project progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in project management, preferably in the construction or infrastructure sector.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex projects and negotiate with various stakeholders.
- A strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and tools, including NEC, PMBOK, and MS Project.
- A degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, construction management, or business administration.
Salary Range: £80,000 - £120,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
