**Job Title:** Senior Quality Engineer

Job Summary:

HSB Technical Ltd is a leading specialist recruiter in the Power & Propulsion, Shipbuilding, Shipping & Energy, and Aerospace sectors. We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Quality Engineer to join our client's team in Oxford.

About the Role:

This is a senior position that requires a high level of expertise in quality management. The successful candidate will oversee the quality inspection team to ensure that incoming and outgoing products meet design and quality standards.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage the quality inspection team to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Conduct inspections of supplied GRP moulded components and work with suppliers to address quality issues.
  • Handle rework on supplier non-conformities, oversee inspection dashboards, and track trends to ensure efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the production quality engineer to assess the impact of non-conforming parts and maintain a QA database to boost supplier performance.

Requirements:

  • Degree in manufacturing or engineering.
  • Certification in quality management or 5+ years of QA experience.
  • Experience in supplier process improvement and data evaluation.
  • Technical knowledge in marine, aerospace, or automotive industries.
