No Limits is a dynamic youth services charity in Southampton, dedicated to supporting children and young people across Hampshire. We are currently recruiting an Advice & Information Volunteer to join our team.

About the Role

As an Advice & Information Volunteer, you will work closely with children, young people, professionals, and other responsible adults to address various issues affecting their lives. This may include emotional well-being, mental health, housing, homelessness, parenting, healthy relationships, substance use, domestic abuse, exploitation, sexual health, offending, and crime.

You will:

  • Provide information and advice on a range of topics
  • Offer support and guidance on sensitive issues
  • Create a safe and inclusive environment for all

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Friendly and approachable manner
  • Non-judgmental, patient, and welcoming attitude
  • Good communication skills – able to listen, ask the right questions, and respond
  • Committed, trusted, and reliable nature
  • Ability to role model and build trusting relationships
  • Genuine interest in children and young people
  • Works well both individually and in a team
  • Experience or a good understanding of supporting children and young people
