Job Description:

Milton Keynes is a key location for this exciting opportunity as an Assistant Facilities Manager working with a dynamic FM company. The role involves assisting the Senior Team in managing a diverse commercial property portfolio. As a successful candidate, you will have the opportunity to develop your FM skills and experience.

About the Role:

This position is part of the Property and Asset Management team, where you will assist in the management of all portfolio matters. You will report to the Senior Facilities Managers and the Directors. Your key responsibilities will include managing Health and Safety databases to maintain compliance across the portfolio, contractor management and supplier procurement in line with Safe Contractor compliance, and vacant property inspections.

The Job Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively with tenants, and ensure compliance with legislation including Health and Safety and other regulations. You will also be responsible for supporting the FM and Surveying teams with invoice approval processes, monitoring and auditing the delivery of services across service charge estates, and assisting with the full recovery of relevant service charges.
